Notre Dame Club of Mid-Hudson Valley

Toy Story

Ellen Raspitha holds a toy leprechaun while standing on a bus on a trip from New York to Notre Dame.

Since 1991, the Notre Dame Club of Mid-Hudson Valley has welcomed local alumni, parents, and friends for an annual 11-hour bus trip to campus for a football game, open to all who love the Fighting Irish regardless of affiliation.

In 1996, this tradition gained a meaningful purpose, with each guest bringing a toy for the St. Margaret’s House Christmas Store to help moms find the perfect gifts for their children.

"I'm not an alum," said Ellen Raspitha, ARC ND Coordinator for the Mid-Hudson Valley club, "but that doesn't mean I can't be a force for good through Notre Dame."
