What accomplishments have you been most proud of in your career?

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that Notre Dame has provided me with, as they have prepared me for the variety of activities I take part in now after graduating. I am currently a 1L in law school studying at home in Hawai'i, surrounded by my family, and training to be an attorney in the community I grew up in. Notre Dame's mission of working "to be a force for good in the world" still resonates with me as I am training to be an attorney who will work to benefit the lives of others.

What lessons from Notre Dame do you still use in your day-to-day work life?

I will carry the lessons I learned from Notre Dame all throughout my life. Not only did Notre Dame provide me with the tools and skills necessary to succeed in law school, but also the values essential to being a contributing member in service to the community. My relationship with my faith, which I was able to strengthen at Notre Dame, continues to guide me throughout my current experiences, offering me a sense of comfort when considering my direction in life. Recently, I was fortunate enough to audition for Season 21 of American Idol, in which my audition was shown during the premiere of the show. As nervous as I was, I said a prayer with my mom before I entered the audition room that calmed me down before I appeared before the judges. I could not be more grateful for Notre Dame providing me with the opportunity to deepen my relationship with faith which helped me on my journey at American Idol.

What meaningful connections did you make on campus, whether with roommates, friends, professors or someone else?

From exciting football games in the student section, to Mass in the Basilica with my roommates, I will cherish the memories I made at Notre Dame forever. I could not be more grateful for the time I spent at Notre Dame as it has changed my life forever. Mahalo Notre Dame, Love Thee Forever, and Go Irish!
